About Us

Sandy is the owner of Countryside K-9 LLC and believes that dogs, like humans, need to be physically active to live a happy, healthy, well balanced life.  As the previous owner of a personal training studio it was no surprise to see what a huge difference exercise made with her first Labrador Retriever, Flex. He would become her inspiration to opening a doggie daycare.  A safe and supervised environment that provides the stimulation and socialization every dog needs but often doesn't get because of their owner's hectic schedules.

As the years passed and Flex aged, he mentally wanted to continue playing with his friends and go on 4-5 mile hikes every morning but, the reality was he physically wasn't capable. His next inspiration, an indoor warm water swim spa. A peaceful environment where dogs of any age, size and physical condition can come to maintain movement and mobility with the buoyancy and warmth only the indoor heated swim spa can provide.

With Flex's inspiration, Sandy now feels she can help other dogs stay active from their first few steps to their last.

- Sandy is a Certified Small Animal Massage Therapist from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA

- She is a graduate of La Paw Spa's Canine Aquatic Training Program Level One & Two

- She is an American Boarding Kennel Association certified Pet Care Technician

- Certified in pet First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross

 

Sandy is a native of New Hampshire and has a bachelors of science degree in Accounting from Rivier University and is an NSCA certified personal trainer
